Community
We feel truly blessed to be doing what we love each and every day. What's more, we have the opportunity to meet and work with so many wonderful and interesting people.
Because we are so very fortunate, we wanted to give back to our community. We regularly participate in these and other very worthwhile charities, organizations and programs.

- Supporting the Arts
As artists ourselves, we believe in offering our support for Arts programs throughout our community. We often provide pro-bono photographic services for the Longmont Chorale and donate a percentage of our sales from various school music and arts performances we photograph back to the school's Arts programs. From time to time, we also donate funds to school programs in need of instruments, music and art supplies. We are also offering photography courses to area students and adults who are interested in photography and may not otherwise have an outlet to pursue their interest. For more details, visit our Photography Courses page.
- American Diabetes Association
My husband has suffered with type 1 diabetes for more than 17 years now. Diabetes affects more than 28.8 million children and adults. More than 6 million of these live daily with the disease and aren't even aware they have it. The common misconception is that diabetes is a disease restricted to overweight, older adults. This couldn't be more wrong. Diabetes affects newborns, young children, seemingly healthy young adults and older adults equally. Adults with diabetes have heart disease death rates of 2 to 4 times higher than adults without diabetes. In addition to heart disease, diabetes is often responsible for other life-altering illnesses and complications, including blindness, kidney disease, nervous system disease, amputations, dental disease, pregnancy complications and many others. People with diabetes are more susceptible to other chronic illnesses, and once they acquire these illnesses, often have worse prognoses. For example, they are more likely to die with pneumonia or influenza than people without diabetes. My husband now also suffers from celiac and thyroid disease - both are auto-immune diseases closely related to diabetes. There is no cure for celiac or thyroid disease. The combination of these illnesses will likely shorten his life even though he takes good care of himself and manages his diabetes and other diseases carefully. Because this is a cause so near and dear to our hearts, we support any event or activity that helps to generate funds for much needed research to find a cure for diabetes. This year, we are participating in the Tour de Cure event right here in Longmont. In addition to offering our photographic services, we are raising funds to make a sizeable donation to the ADA. For more details about this worthwhile endeavor, please visit our Bob's Bikers page.
- Fundraising
We have offered our studio for various events and fundraising efforts to help local schools, organizations and even businesses raise the funds they need for school sponsored trips, charitable events or causes, local programs, etc. If you have a need for a unique and special venue for your fundraising event, please call or email us. We never charge a fee for these events. We have also donated portrait packages for area school events, the Longmont PD awards banquet and ball, the Longmont Chorale concert events and other special events. If you would like us to donate a portrait package for your fundraising event, please call or email us.
- FREE High School Senior Yearbook Photos
We were quite dismayed when we saw how many high school seniors were not pictured in their school yearbook or in the special edition of the newspaper honoring graduates. We believe that ALL students deserve to have a high quality, professional senior yearbook photo. We have decided to open our studio this year on specific days to ALL area students who need a yearbook photo but cannot afford to pay for a full senior portrait session or package. There is no catch, no fee and no obligation. Simply visit our studio on one of the dates listed below, and we will create a professional senior yearbook photo for you and deliver it to your school by the required deadline. Due to the large volume of students we anticipate, we will have to choose the best image from each student's collection to submit to the appropriate school. Please be sure to wear the outfit you wish to be photographed in.
